Dream Scenes Transition
From non-dream to dream :
Narrative structure:
(1)setting up in middle of story developing to express and enhance character's inner change.
(2)also setting up at the story or end of story
(3)Dream scene can be a complete plot, also it can be a fragment of plot.
Shots conversion:
(1)normally, before shot is that a person sleep on the bed, then shot switches to dream scene.
(2)during developing of story, suddenly interlude a dream, shot transition is very sudden, without aura, then shot is out from dream and present a person is sleeping.
(3)shot directly from reality to dream through dialogue, character tell audience a dream scene. "spellbound"
(4)using exaggerated or fuzzy transition effect.
Lighting conversion:
(1)normally, using exaggerated color to present unreal world.
(2)sometime, due to story, lighting not change, dream scene is normal light.
Music conversion:
(1)reality not music, then the music of dream is tense pace and louder. Sometimes, the music of dream is smoothing or romantic rhythm,depending on story needs.
(2)not music change, just continue to use reality music.
(3)without any music or sounds between non-dream and dream.
Character's emotion: emotion change depends on story development.
